If you are new to Yellowknife, let My Backyard Tours show you the ropes. We’ve made this our home for many years and we can help you create your own mental map of who looks after what and where in our favorite city. Visit City Hall, the vet, the power company and learn how to hook up necessary services. Are you new to Yellowknife, or looking for information about relocating? My Backyard Tours is here to help with all the information you may need to familiarize yourself and your family with the local community, including: history of Yellowknife, directions around the community, information on shopping, recreation, government services, transportation, community services. We can also provide recommendations on where to shop for what you need.
Tour price is $125 plus gst
Approximate length of time of the tour is 4 1/2 hours.

Culinary Workshop – Coming Soon
Expand your awareness and appreciation of the North by joining us in one of our culinary workshops where we will prepare and savour some northern dishes. Suitable for anyone interested in eating well and having fun in the kitchen. Approximately 6 hours.
Rate: $149.00 per person plus gst
Season: fall/winter
Special note: be sure to bring your appetite, your camera, and most importantly have fun!
