Hiking Tour ~ Cameron Waterfalls

Just beyond the City limits you can enjoy a scenic drive on the Ingraham Trail to the Cameron Falls trailhead where you can take a short hike (approximately 1.2 km) to view the falls. Highlights and possible stops along the way include the outdoor Mining Heritage Display at Giant Mine and the Yellowknife River where you will learn about the Yellowknife River Legend, a piece of Dene history. Total time for this tour is approximately 4.5 hours in length. Extend your tour with an excursion to the ramparts. This tour can be adapted to meet your interests. Picnic lunch includes: a freshly prepared sandwich; fresh fruit, bottled water/juice and cookies. Minimum capacity: 4 guests.

Cameron Falls smaller cousin. The trail is scenic; there is a beautiful sandy area and picnic tables at the trail head. Rating: easy. The path is mainly boardwalk and hard packed surface with a staircase leading to the waterfalls. It is a shorter in length then the Cameron Waterfalls hike. This hike is an alternative to Cameron Waterfalls or it can be added to the Cameron Waterfalls tour.
