Experience Northern Tradition!
Dog sledding has been a time honored tradition in the North, it is a way of life, the relationship between man and dog is unlike any other. Dog teams were a means of transportation, for hunting, survival and, to this day, families still honor this lifestyle. Come experience the beauty and tranquility of this 6km run over the frozen lake. There will be story telling, pan fried bannock and hot beverages once the ride is complete hosted in a log cabin heated by woodstove. This cozy atmosphere is made complete by it’s indigenous artifacts and fur surroundings to keep all passengers warm at the end of a brisk ride.
Dog Sled Tours are 1.5hours
- 11 am to 12:30om
- 12:30pm to 2pm
- 2pm to 3:30 pm
minimum of 2 guests and maximum of 5 guests per toboggan
Cost is $125.00 per person, $65.00 for children under 10
